The Department of Commerce is one of the largest departments in the federal government, with over 1,200 agencies. The great majority of those offices are within in the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service. Other main agencies include the Patent and Trademark Office, the Census Bureau, and the Economic Statistics Administration.
